News Flash . . . Yo!

This week's challenge at Paper Smooches was a color challenge.  I thought I had some pattern paper that would match up nicely . . . We R Memories Chalkboard line . . . which I absolutely love.  It pulled in the teal, light purple and orange, and I pulled in the Kraft as my base of the card.

Admittedly, my lighting must be a little off.  My lavender is a little more on the pink side in these photos.   However, here is my design . . .

I love to paper piece, and that's how I "built" my television.  I used black rhinestones for the top of the antenna and two of the knobs on the retro television.  for the larger dial, I popped the stamped image.

Boob Tubes is one of my favorite sets from Paper Smooches, so I'm often drawn to it for some cute cards to catch up with friends.

Supplies Used:
Bazzill Cardstock
We R Memories Chalkboard pattern paper
Paper Smooches Boob Tubes and Slang Gang Stamps
Memento Ink
Queen & Co.
Ribbon from Stash
