Handcrafted Hello Inspired by Freshly Made Sketches

The sketch at Freshly Made Sketches sparked my creativity.  I pulled down a box of supplies from a kit and went to work.  I started by creating a watercolor piece to represent one of those borders.

Build my design on a colored cardstock base . . . steering away from my typical white base.

Go find something to create!

Handcrafted Hello for Color Throwdown

Sharing a card for Color Throwdown, whose inspiration photo is listed down with my supplies.

I used some watercolors that were in a kit to get to my red, orange and yellows.  I embossed the watercolor piece before adding the color.

I hope you find some time to create today!

Fun Creation for Fusion

Hi all!

Tried to keep my colors and sketch true to theme. Here is the inspiration for this Fusion Challenge

The challenge . . .

Here is my card . . .

Tried to get artsy with this one . . . some watercolor, and some embossing, and tried to stay close to the colors in the sketch (which is likely a stretch).

I do love how this one turned out.

I hope you find some time to create.

Debbie

Watercolor Floral for a Special Couple

This week's challenge at Stamp Ink Paper was a floral challenge.  Love floral, and I love watercolor, and I love using my kit supplies and knew just the one to pull out.

I stamped my watercolor paper with Versamark and embossed with embossing powder.  I love the results on this one.  The strip of paper at the bottom is all about getting hitched, so my inside sentiment will congratulate a happy couple.

Most of the supplies for this card were from a Simon Says Stamp Card kit.

I hope you find some time to create today!
