A Pink Ribbon for Tic-Tac-Tuesday Card

My card today was inspired by Tic-Tac-Tuesday #1 - the board that was posted on Try Stampin' On Tuesday's site a week or so ago.

I went straight across the top for my card . . . black, die cut and pink.

And there was some sparkle there!  Nothing like some sparkle to say "never give up hope".

Happy weekend!  I hope you find some time to create.

Time Out Challenge - Thankful

Thankful was the theme for the Time Out Challenge, and I recalled having some scraps on my table from a layout.  When I flip thru my scraps, the pattern papers below were in the front.  This one was design, cut and paste!

Super simple card . . . just required some thought.

I hope you find some time to create.

Watercolor for Stamp our Stash

I happened upon a challenge, Shopping Our Stash, which is exactly what I need to do.  Stamp the stash of items in my crafty arsenal.  And so I played along this week with some watercolor.

For this one I used a stencil and some Ken Oliver Color Burst inks.  And yes . . . I cut the pieces apart, but only so I could use that border stamp from My Creative Time.

The Color Burst did a bit o "bursting" out of the line of the stencil.  A look that was a bit different.

I hope you found some time to create over this past weekend.

Debbie

Supplies Used - Just a Note
Stamps:  Mad for Plaid (My Creative Time); Minis4Circles (The Stamps of Life)
Ink: Violet, Lime Green, Lemon Yellow (Color Bursts from Ken Oliver); Licorice Archival Ink (The Stamps of Life)
Paper:  Powdered Sugar and Licorice Cardstock (The Stamps of Life);
Accessories:  Pattern of Rings (Winnie & Walter); White Linen Ribbon (Stampin' Up)

Embossing for Stamp Ink Paper

Embossing is the challenge at Stamp Ink Paper this week.  I went for the gold . . .

I started by creating my watercolor technique piece using Lemon Yellow and Crimson Colorburst, and then I cut my Concentric Circle Die.  Once it was dry, I embossed the "thanks" sentiment with gold embossing powder.

I then took a white panel, stamped/embossed my sentiment to match in gold, and then embossed the edges of that white panel and popped it on my card base.

I love the look of those circles in the different shades of yellow and red.

Hope you find some time to create.  Cheers!

Debbie

Claus for Celebration for Freshly Made Sketch

Created this card using the Freshly Made Sketch that is currently posted.  I used supplies from my Simon Says Stamp December card kit.

I felt I had to do a little stamping,  so I matched up some ink to my paper and stamped the sentiment on the right side of my border strip to add a bit of interest.

A pretty simple but fun card to make.  Love that sentiment stamp.

I hope you find some time to create!

Encouragement . . . for CASology

The cue card at CASology this week is ENCOURAGE!  So here's a card I created to give a little . . .

I love the "font" of that super thin amazing die cut.   I used a pretty simple layout for this card and tried to take advantage of pattern papers.

I hope you found some time to create today.

Joyful for Merry Monday

Embossing was the challenge at Merry Monday this week . . . either dry or heat embossing.

I went with the heat embossing of my sentiment, but as you can clearly see, there was some dry embossing in my die . . . didn't notice until I popped it out of the die.  It's that very slight border of the die.

I hope you find some time to create today.

I am still working with my Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit, and used the inspiration from CAS(E) this Sketch for this one.

Christmas Challenge #1 - StampNation

My favorite crafty place is StampNation, and I do have a resolution to find a better balance between work and life, and that means more creating and more StampNation.  So with the Simon Says Stamp Kit from December still on my table, it seemed appropriate to create a card for StampNation's first Christmas card challenge ever!  The challenge was sweet treats.

I stamped and collected up the sweet treats from the kit. Love my white pen.

If you've not checked out StampNation - highly recommend it. I've been a member for over six years and have met physically and virtually some awesome people.  Loads of inspiration and creativity.

I hope you all find some time to create!

Santa + Paws for Less is More

First card post of 2018, and I can't believe it is a Christmas card.  But I was using supplies from my December Simon Says Stamp Card Kit, so it had to be.  And today I used a Sketch from Less is More to create my card.

I envisioned this as Santa up on top of the roof, and the little kitty and puppy down below waiting.

And of course they have treats ready for Santa.

I stamped with black ink and used Stickles for all of my coloring.  So much fun creating this one.  And now it goes into a vault until next year.

Cheers - and I hope you found some time to create today.
