Sunday Challenges

I have two card challenge cards to share today.  The first was inspired by the photo at Merry Monday.  The photo is listed down with my supplies.

I was clearly inspired by that tree on the card.  I used sequins for the ornaments, and they provided quite a shine.

My next card was inspired by a challenge at  Stamp Ink Paper.  It was cardmaker's choice . . . use your favorite stamp set, ink, colors and paper.

Well, anyone who knows me well knows that it's hard for me to name favorites.  But I do have an attachment to my House Mouse stamps, and I've used this one a few time in other ways.  So here we go again.

I think it is those darn lights that I adore . . . or coloring them . . . wrapped around those adorable little mice.  And my favorite cardstock . . . Neenah!

I hope you all find some time to create.

Romantic Kitties for Just Add Ink

Sharing a card inspired by Just Add Ink.  Their challenge was to add romance to a card. What is more romantic then two little kitties enjoying each other's company?

Don't tell anyone, but my background paper is Christmas paper that I just couldn't part with, and yet didn't want to store somewhere.

I hope you find some time to create today!

Love of House Mouse

Anyone who knows me well knows that I'm a huge fan of House Mouse.  I have two cards to share today.  This first one was inspired by the challenge at House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge.  This month's inspiration was "anything goes", with the optional theme of "love".

I'm always going to pick love, because love wins.  It should always win.   And how about me using Christmas paper from a Simon Says Stamp card kit to make a card about love!  This was from the Milk and Cookie Doodlebug line.  Love this paper.

And always love the mouse!

And a second card I will share was created with StampNation as my inspiration.  StampNation is my online community of craftiness.  This month they are doing a birthday celebration, and the challenge there was to create a birthday card for a woman.

This card also has a watercolor background piece that was created using Ken Oliver Color Burst.

I hope you find some time to create!
