This last month of
the year we are focusing all our attention on metallics, whether it's foil,
embossing powder, inks or cardstock, anything metallic and since it's December
we just had to make it holiday too.
Now on with my
projects, and I have a few today.
First up is a card made using some sparkling metallic glitter paper.
For this one I used pattern papers that were leftover from a kit . . . the perfect way to use up your scraps. I also used a distress tools to make that harsh edge on the ivory cardstock. I really let my die cuts do the work on this one.
And my next card used metallic cardstock . . .
I started by creating my watercolor piece which . . . although you can't see it . . . has a metallic tinge to it. I used Ken Oliver products for this piece.
I do love the gold and turquoise metallic paper.
So here is the lineup in case you get lost along the way.

Both your cards are beautiful! I'm a big fan of turquoise and putting it with the gold is absolutely perfect. Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards. I really like how you distressed the edges of the ivory mat on the ornament card. I will have to try that.
