Masculine Creation for Merry Monday

Playing along with this week's Merry Monday challenge, which was to create a masculine card.

I know that with my husband, less is more.  So I tried to keep this one pretty simple.  I started out by white embossing my sentiment.  I then cut the tree with a new die I have from Paper Smooches - the Triangle Tree Die.

The die cuts the two side pieces of the triangles, and scores the bottom of each.  I flipped the bottom row of triangles to the inside of my card (so you don't see them).  I flipped the top three rows down and put some foam adhesive underneath so they would pop.   And then I put the entire panel on the same color card base.  From there, it was all sequin placement.

Fun and easy card.  I hope you find some time to create today.
