Holiday Trees

Trees is the theme at Christmas Craft Creations, so I got busy with some trees.  This is a set that I needed to break out for the holidays, but never got around to playing with it.

I used some leftover paper from another project to create this card.  My sentiment is heat embossed, so didn't pick up well in the picture above.  It needed a bit more tilt during the photo session.

Lots of glitter and shine.

I hope you find some time to get creative.

Tropically Inspired for Time Out Challenges

The prompt at Time Out Challenges was "tropical".  I couldn't resist the opportunity for a bit of tropical color and pulled in one of my favorite collections from Catherine Pooler Designs.

I created my watercolor background first and then used a cover plate die.

I used the same colors when coloring my images.  This is such a colorful card; it just makes me happy.

I hope you find some time to be colorful today!

Green and White Creation for Christmas Card Thowdown

A bit of green and white for the Christmas Card Throwdown.  Pulled together some watercolor for this in a few shades of green.

I used Nuvo Shimmer Powders to create my watercolor background.

Love the shades of green and the texture from the watercolor paper.

Just add some water!

Feel Better - Alphabet Challenge Inspired

More crafty creations from me, and this one inspired by Alphabet Challenge Blog . . . embossing, wet or dry.

For me it was wet this time around.  I went monochromatic and used stamps and dies from Catherine Pooler Designs.

The embossing is in the individual half circle pieces from my stamp/die.  While I don't do get well cards often, I thought it was time to put a few in my stash.

I hope you can emboss a little something soon!

You and Coffee for Just Add Ink

Cleaning out my craft room and found an old card kit from Simon Says Stamp.  It caught my eye, because it was stamps and paper relative to coffee and tea. So when the challenge for Just Add Ink came up this week, I went straight to the box.

I used pattern papers and did some fussy cutting to create cut my stamped cup images and the sleeves.

And some stamping on pattern papers rounds it all out.

One day I may get smart and create like crazy with a kit . . . meaning less boxes in my craft room.

One day!

I hope you find some time to get inky today.

Fishy Creation for Little Red Wagon

Inspired by the prompt at Little Red Wagon . . . "Something Fishy Going On"!

Stamps, dies, and inks.  And then some sequins, twine and metallic paper.

That sequin in the spinny thing on the rod just made my entire crafty experience.  That's the reel, right?  Ha, I know nothing about fishing.

Go get inky, please!
