HAPPYBDAY!

Sharing this dimensional die cut card for CAS Mix Up Card Challenge. The challenge was dimensional dies + stamping + your choice . . . went with embossing.

I had created a water color piece using a stencil, and it didn't have a lot of detail in the end.  And so I cut it up with some dies and created this piece with some dimension.

I hope you find some time to create today.

Debbie

Cupcake Truck Box for Just Us Girls

Love the color inspiration at Just Us Girls.  I made treat box in the shape of a cupcake truck . . . wishing this truck would drop a little cupcake off to me right now.

I had fun making this one . . . just have to keep it save until February 14, 2020 . . . and then be able to find it, fill it up, and share the joy.

It's going to be a long year.

I hope you find some time to create today.

CAS on Friday . . . Use a Tag

Does it count if said tag, for CAS on Friday, is one you didn't create?

Well, I had these tags, and felt they deserved to be used on a card . . . they were from a card kit, so of course they belong on a card.

I do love the texture on this tag.  And I'm loving my color combination.

I hope you find some time to create today.

#YOUARELOVED

No conversation heart candies in the stores this year . . . so I had to create my own!  This one is for House Mouse & Friends Challenge.  I adore these little mice.

My background, oddly enough, was created using a rose stencil, but you can' see much of the rose detail due to the technique I used, which was to attempt a watercolor monoprint from another piece where the rose detail did show.  But it was till worthy of use.

Adore these cute little mice!

I hope you find some time to create today.

What I Love . . . by a Graph for Color My Heart

Sharing a card inspired by this mood board at Color My Heart Color Dare . . .

And here is the card I created . . . it's a bit of a graph . . . of me . . . cuz it's all about me, my loves and likes.  And I used those paper strips from the CTMH pattern papers.

Made this card for my husband.  The graph shows he is above puppies (just barely).

Hope you find some time to create.

With Enough Coffee . . .

Sharing a card created with the inspiration at Just Add Ink.  It was a "choose two" challenge, and I chose my two . . . sequins and colouring.

What's not to love about House Mouse . . . except that this dude is a little on the dark side . . . although the coffee could have stained him.

With enough coffee, I sometimes rule my own world.  The sentiment fits.

I hope you rule the world and create.

Something for Baby at SIP

The challenge this week at Stamp Ink Paper was "Something for Baby".  So with a baby boy on the way, it was time to play.

I used an ink resist on the pre-embossed background, and while it wasn't watercolor paper, it has a nice distress look to it.

I hope you find some time to create today.

Use Your Stuff - Enamel Dots

I always have enamel dots hanging around from kits, and I try to use them up so there isn't abundance.  So I went to my stash for this card inspired by the challenge at Use Your Stuff

For this card, I replaced dots in the pattern paper with some enamel ones to add dimension.

And I went with a pop of black so that my die would show on those pattern papers.

I hope you find some time to create today.
