Just Bee-cause Card

I've had such a creative week and weekend playing along with challenges. My card today was inspired by TGIF Challenges. 

I dug into the archive for this one. The inspiration at TGIF was to pop-up some items, and I went with the honeycomb. I used some Nuvo drops on the popped honeycomb and the sentiment. 

I love how the glasses turned out on this little guy. He looks so very smart!

I'm hoping I can keep my creative streak going.

My card today was inspired by the sketch at TGIF Challenges. 

I pulled this Concord & 9th set from one of the Scrapbook & Cards today sets. Some about white and kraft makes me happy. And then add the splash of color in the flower centers.

You're the Candy!

The TGIF Challenge this week is a Theme Challenge. And this one is "sweet treats".  

Yummy sweet treats from the candy store had me stamping away in some beautiful hues to match my pattern paper borders at the bottom of my card. 

I added some sparkle and shine in the form of some glossy and glitter accents.  

Oddly, I've never had rock candy. These have me wanting some right about now.

Flip-it Card for TGIF

Today's card uses more discovered supplies from flipping my craft space and it also inspired by the challenge at TGIF

 

I used an oldkit from The Stamps of Life - December 2018 kit to be exact.  They just don't expire, do they!  And so a flip-it, with a shaker is born . . . 

A rather small shaker . . .

That flip-it element . . .

And that gumdrop-like heart.  

And I barely put a dent in the box.

Summer-ish Challenges

I've been trying to draw inspiration from challenges and have two to share today.  This first one is for TGIF Challenges, and had the element of "summer heat embossing."  Here is the card I created . . .

The stamping of the pineapple was heat embossed, as was the sentiment.  And nothing says summer like a pineapple in sunglasses. 

My second cards took inspiration from CAS(E) this Sketch.  Here is the sketch . . .

I do struggle with one layer cards, but I gave it my best shot for this one.  Included some sparkly embossing to make it pop.
