Who does not love playing with paper, and who doesn't love summer or love? The Paper Players challenge installed a tune from Grease in my head for a bit. It also inspired me to create an anniversary card.
Yellow is one of those colors that screams summer to me. It's sunshine and brightness. It has a sense of warm summer heat. As for the bees, they are adorable on paper. I actually admire their color as they buzz around my patio . . . but my dog tries to hunt them down. She's not been stung yet . . . it my be my resounding "No!" (the neighbors must love me).

Your card is a day brightener and is as cute as can "Bee", Debbie! Who can resist these cute little bee faces. The freckles make me smile. I agree that yellow is such a happy, summer color. What a great mix of patterns! Luckily my three kids have not been stung by the bumblebees who frequent our yard, yet. I think they view them as flying toys made for their entertainment. I'm sure my neighbors think my three dogs' middle names are "NO", "Leave It" and "Danger". Thank you so much for playing in my challenge at The Paper Players this week!
ReplyDeleteThose bees are the CUTEST! Love the background paper and the scallop strips across the front. The hearts with the stickles is a fabulous addition to the love theme. Such a sweet card, Debbie. Thanks so much for playing along with us at the Paper Players!
