It's a Boy

Stencils was the challenge this week at Just Us Girls, and I love a good stenciling session. It gets the blood pumping!

And so today, a baby card using some Pretty Pink Posh stencils.

I do love this technique which is perfect for stenciled backgrounds. I used a mix of yellow, blue and green to create this card. While I used only one shade of each color, I varied the heaviness of the blending to get some lighter/darker shades.

What are you waiting for? Use a stencil!

  1. Debbie... I can not begin to tell you how inspiring you baby card is! I just finished 300 baby cards for donation to Cleveland Clinic. (Here in my hometown, they give a new baby basket to every mother... I am one of the cardmakers supplying cards for nurses to sign). I love your design! The stencil is great... will be checking that out after this comment. The safety pin makes me smile. All around fabulous! Thank you so much for sharing with Just Us Girls this week... I hope we see you again in the New Year. Happy Holidays!
