Washi it Up for Color Dare

My card today is inspired by Color Dare and the amazing color palette.

I had some washi tape that I thought would be perfect for these colors.

After creating a background piece with the washi, I die cut and did some inlay with dimension to add some interest.

What's not to love about adding some gold to flash things up.

Appreciate the inspiration, Color Dare

Say? Are You a Dog?

Inspired by a bit of humor by Alphabet Challenge, and I knew just what stamp set to grab!

The dog is adorable, but the question and then the reveal of the answer in the card just describes my true feelings and I hope makes the recipient laugh. My people know just how much this sentiment means, because dogs ARE my favorite people.

Here's hoping you have a special someone that deserves a sentiment like this one.

Many thanks to the Alphabet Challenge for the inspiration.

Just a Note . . Showers Bring Veggies!

I'm in my crafty mode this week. Today I created a card inspired by Cupcake Inspiration

I wanted to create that underground look for the root vegetables in this set. I had a bit of trouble with the blending of my dirt but love how my little veggies came out as they grow in a rain shower.

Vegetables . . . inspired by cupcakes? What's not to love about that?

Craft away and eat your veggies!

It's die week at Just Us Girls, so it was all dies for this card, from the embellishments to the sentiment.

I used a tiny envelope die to create my little tiny cards on the front of my card. There is a whole lot of "miss you" on this card, from the background to the sentiment to having three cards in one!

Thank you, Just Us Girls, for the inspiration.

Warm Wishes Fun Fold Card

Sticking with the holidays, while the items were out and about on my crafty desk. This card is inspired by the palette presented in the Just Add Ink challenge.

For this one, I went with a fun fold card. It's a 6 x 6 easel card with a diagonal fold.

I stamped my images on kraft cardstock. I love the result, especially those white tips on the darker pinecones.

The plaid paper was perfect for the diagonal cut on this card. Many thanks for the color inspiration, Just Add Ink

Hope you get inky today!

Lawn Fawnatics Inspired

It's that beastly time of year where the stores are bursting with all the Halloween treats. Isn't candy a main dish in October?

Fun with food is the challenge inspiration at Lawn Fawnatics, and I had to bring out the Halloween goodness. I must also say I was inspired by the web near my front door that was covering my ring cam. The ring cam view looked like the lens was shattered, but entering the house was an entirely different story, and it inspired my use of vellum for the web on my card.

Bring on those sour candies. That alone has to be protein packed.

Vellum and glitter; you just can't go wrong there.

Thanks for the inspiration Lawn Fawn.
