Monochromatic Love for Less is More

I'm a fan of monochromatic creations, so I was stoked to work on this card.  It was inspired by the challenge this week at Less is More

I'm on this new kick to use supplies I have, so had fun crafting this one.  And I'm loving those Enamel Accents from Ranger.

Go create something sparkly!

Santa + Paws for Less is More

First card post of 2018, and I can't believe it is a Christmas card.  But I was using supplies from my December Simon Says Stamp Card Kit, so it had to be.  And today I used a Sketch from Less is More to create my card.

I envisioned this as Santa up on top of the roof, and the little kitty and puppy down below waiting.

And of course they have treats ready for Santa.

I stamped with black ink and used Stickles for all of my coloring.  So much fun creating this one.  And now it goes into a vault until next year.

Cheers - and I hope you found some time to create today.

Debbie

Jewel Colors for Less is More

I'm sharing a card today using Jewel colors, which was the challenge at Less is More this week.  Here is my card . . .

I used supplies from an older Simon Says Stamp kit that was in my collection from last winter, and for this card I stamped the sentiment and the hearts.  The pattern paper has those jewel tone stripes, and the hearts are super jewel tone.  I also used a strip of linen fabric for this card.  Love that look!

I hope you find some time to create.  Cheers!

Kit Kraft Wednesday - Leftovers!

Tomorrow is that one day a year where leftovers are part of the fun, but this post isn't about Thanksgiving leftovers . . . no turkey, potatoes or stuffing . . . this is about using leftovers from my Button Farm Kit, specifically a kit from two years ago.  I created these two cards for two challenges. I love that I was able to use both paper and embellishments from this kit.

First up is the Less is More challenge, which was "Jingle All the Way."  For this challenge, I went with bells, as they were leftover from my kit.

There was no stamping on this card, except for the inside sentiment.  I had stickers left to use for the sentiment on the front of the card.

For my second card, I used this week's Muse card for inspiration.  Here is there card . . .

I was inspired by the overlapping tags and the way that the sentiment and the elements overlap the tags.  Here is my card . . .

This card has minimal stamping.  It's all about the combination of these great pattern papers.  The hounds-tooth background along with the musical note paper for the tags, the beige pattern paper for the tag toppers, and the chevron stripe paper for the ornament is a combination that works very well together.  I used stamps and dies from My Favorite Things.

Two great challenges and an opportunity to use supplies on hand!  Can't as for more than that on a Wednesday.  Hope you find some time to create over this long holiday weekend.
