These were inspired by Stamp Ink Paper, I created this thank you card. Two versions that I'm posting . . . positive images and negative of both the background and negative dies.
So first, created a watercolor background and die cut the background, saving all pieces.
Also die cut from white cardstock.
Then did ink to paper to create my sentiment (cut from a die).
Card one . . . the negative pieces of the watercolor piece inlaid into the positive piece of the white die. (Am I making sense?) The positive of the sentiment die (along with it's shadow piece).
The placement of the pieces back into the white die was like a puzzle. 1) fun . . . and 2) random! I did not put them in their original space. I also used a green background piece.
My second card has the positive of the cover die, along with the negative pieces of the sentiment die.
I did cut a second shadow die for the sentiment.
Card one gets my vote . . both for fun in the construction and the look of that amazing sentiment die.
Thankfully I photographed them . . . before "the incident". A 4-month old puppy ate the corners on both cards, rendering them garbage. Keep those cards safe.
