You've Got This

Sharing this card I created using paper and epoxy stickers from a card kit in my stash.  The colors did lend themselves to breast cancer awareness, so I pulled a stamp from CAS-ual Fridays

The colors in the pattern papers did lend themselves to breast cancer awareness, so I pulled a stamp from CAS-ual Fridays and had to use that "Don't quit" puffy sticker.

I hope you find some time to create today.

Choose Kindness . . . Just Us Girls Color Inspired

Sharing a card inspired by the colors at Just Us Girls.

For this one, I started by creating a colorful watercolor background with some emboss resist.

The purple and green can get a bit muddy, so I had to be careful to keep them a bit separate.

And that "kind" stamp and die . . . LOVE it.

I hope you find some time to create.

Enjoy the Little Things in Life

Enamel dots were the challenge element at Use Your Stuff.  Oh but what to do . . . use enamel dots with adhesive, or create my own.

I do love my enamel accents.  I've used them to color, which creates dimension on items.  Today I used a stamp from Pretty Pink Post that has guidelines for dots.  You can use whatever you want to fill the dots, or I suppose not fill them at all. I used my enamel accents to fill mine and suffice for the challenge.  Or is that cheating.

Little dots . . . with a reminder to enjoy the little things.  I had to keep a steady hand.

I hope you find some time to create today.

Stencil Inspired

Sharing two cards created for World Card Making Day and using a stencil, which was inspired from Little Red Wagon.

This one was inspired by brick, and I used some new, cool product that was in my stash to give it a metallic look.

My second card was also created using a stencil.  This one used distress oxide inks.

This one is a bit simpler, but was perfect for a sympathy card.

I hope you find some time to create very soon.

Cheers!

Tuesday Throwdown . . . For a Cause

Please . . . choose kindness.

I have a number of causes, and one of my tops is Colon Cancer.  My bro lose is battle to colon cancer and one of his causes was kids . . . and kindness . . . and so my cause for this challenge is bullying.  I see bulling in the workplace, and of course, I know that it definitely happens in environments for teens and kids. So I celebrate my bro by touching upon one of his causes.

The card below was inspired by Tuesday Throwdown, and also by a challenge at StampNation for World Cardmaking Day!

The color combo and gold embossing came from photo inspiration there.
