Now on with the
projects.
This month it's all
about the see through stuff...vellum and acetate. I have three projects for you today . . . One
with vellum and two with acetate. First up is the
vellum card.
The secret to this card is
to stamp with Versamark and emboss with white ink. Once it had cooled down, I flipped the image
over and colored the back side with Copic markers. However, any marker would do for this
technique. When you flip it back over,
the white embossing just pops, and you have the color behind, so no smearing.
Next I have two shaker
cards for you below. One is a bit more simple than the other. What do you need for great shaker cards . . . dies that provide a window, something shake (sequins, beads, glitter or small cardstock pieces) and a piece of acetate. In this case, I used pattern paper to create my design.
Such a simple card. My die cut images are on top of the acetate, which is a different use because you get that great shadow effect in the background.
And then a Holiday
card with a full window shaker.
In this
one, the focal point is the watercolor image in the window, which was obviously a bit more work than just using that pattern paper. I adore House Mouse Stamps, so this card
makes me melt.
We really love
feedback, so please leave a comment on each of the blogs in today's hop. Your
