Now the question is whether hard candy is considered food? If a piece of hard candy gets me from one meal to the next, then I say it's food. I chose as my Christmas inspired food because it is sweet, it is pretty and it is festive!
In the past I have tried "filling jars" by masking to give that layered look inside the jar. This time around I decided to layer using die cut images. I think I like it better, but next time I might look to include an acrylic layer on top of this (and I have a piece nearby, I would have tried it today.
Loving the white on white. Cheers!
