So I decided to play along with a technique I saw on StampNation, and couple it with a sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch. Here is the sketch . . .
Now this sketch just screamed "ribbon technique" to me. I had seen this technique on StampNation, my go to place for creativity. So with ink pads in hand, here is my card . . .
I used the corners of my distress ink pads to make the swirls, and then added my sentiment in black over the ink swirls. I love the spots where the different colors blend. This is a card that will likely look different each time you make it, but each one will have it's own unique look.
Such a simple card, and those swirls of color are just so bright . . . hence why I chose the sentiment I did.
This technique was so simple, and yet this card really seemed kind of special to me. Must be those bright colors! If you're reading this, I hope you'll give it a try. I'm thinking that a Christmas version needs to be done soon.
