I used a pattern paper from Basic Grey that was one-half inch smaller than my card base so one-quarter inch of the background would show around. I then used 3/8" strips of pattern paper staggered on top.
The die cut is the new pinked circle die (which I love). I did some gradient stamping with the new Positive Strokes stamp set and used the Scripty sentiment set for my greeting.
Loving those brush strokes!

I headed over to thank you for commenting on my zany # of Valentine cards (THANK YOU) and wound up spending nearly the last half hour swooning over the photo of your schnauzer (I was mom to two schnauzers years ago, and when opportunity presents, hope to be so again! Love schnauzers!), admiring your delightful cards, learning about your warm, compassionate, HUGE heart for four-legged sweeties in need of love (you're incredible with animals!), and all-in-all having a most joyful (though sometimes near to tears moments) experience. So GLAD I came by, because wow, you certainly have much to share that's refreshing and positive. Your PS Hugs card: fab-u-lous! Love the paint stokes (adding those to my wish list), and the papers you've selected are the perfect complement. The bow: such a charming special touch! Have a splendid Saturday evening; looking forward to coming back for more visits!
